The two heated rivals are battling for positioning in the NFC East as the Eagles(8-4) try to keep pace with the Dallas Cowboys and the Giants(7-5) look to keep in the race as well. Philadelphia demolished Manning and the G-Men in the 1st meeting 40-17, but I wouldn't expect another blowout win as both teams are fighting hard as the season winds down. Philadelphia has given Manning plenty of problems the last few matchups and I don't see that changing in this game however. The Eagles are currently riding a 3-game win streak, while the Giants come in fresh off a huge win over the Cowboys.
McNabb should be excited as well to have one of his favorite targets back in DeSean Jackson who missed last's week game in Atlanta. Jackson leads the team with 769 recieving yards with 7 total touchdowns and will look to add to that total this Sunday night. Philadelphia will also be without Brian Westbrook once again as he recovers from the concussions he recieved earlier in the season.
Manning will also have to watch out for Asante Samuel who has picked him off in 3 straight games. Samuel has a total of 7 interceptions on the season so far and I am certainly hoping to see that total rise to 8-9 after this game. With the Eagles flying high right now and players getting on the same page this late in the season, I of course pick the Eagles to pull out yet another victory to add to that win streak. I see McNabb having a great game as the Eagles go to 9-4 with a 31-17 victory.
