On Thursday night the Philadelphia Eagles tendered 9 of their restricted free agents with one year tenders.
Surprisingly Ellis Hobbs received the highest tender of any Eagle. He received a tender of a first round level. This means if a team signs him to an offer sheet and the Eagles do not match they will receive a first round pick as compensation.
Also, Weaver and the Eagles have not come to a a new contract yet and he was tendered as a second rounder. I do not believe any team is willing to give up a second rounder for a fullback.
here is a list of the other tenders:
WR Jason Avant-- 2nd round level
LB Omar Gaither-- Original Round level (5th)
G Nick Cole-- 2nd round level
G Max Jean-Giles-- Original round tender (4th)
LB Akeem Jordan-- 2nd round level
P Sav Rocca-- Right of First Refusal
CB Ellis Hobbs-- 1st round level
FB Leonard Weaver-- 2nd round level
