Eagles Rookies Report To Camp On July 26
By Lance Epstein
The Philadelphia Eagles announced that rookies and selected veterans are scheduled to report to training camp at Leigh University in Bethlehem, Pa. on Monday, July 26.
As for the rest of the veterans, they are scheduled to report to the facilities on Thursday, July 29. The Eagles will break camp on Wednesday, Aug. 18, which is just two days before their second preseason game at Cincinnati on Aug. 20.
While at camp, the Eagles will also host their annual fundraiser called "Eagles Flight Night" on Thursday, Aug. 5. The event is to raise money for the Eagles Youth Partnership. However, many Eagles fans might refer to the event as Eagles Fright Night after Stewart Bradley tore his ACL at the event a year ago.
Besides the fundraiser, the Eagles will still be in camp as they kickoff the preseason against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Aug. 13.
The practice times for training camp have not been set, but are expected to be announced within the next month. Also as a heads up, selected veterans and rookies will be arriving in Philadelphia on Wednesday for OTAs.
